Return and Refund Policy
Effective Date: July 26, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Credits made through the MVSEP website or mobile application ("Service"). It explains exactly when a purchase can be refunded, how to ask, and what happens afterwards.
Definitions
- Credits – Units purchased to unlock premium processing features. One separation consumes Credits according to the length of the audio and the algorithm used.
- Processing job – One separation you started, whether through the website, the mobile application, or the API.
When You Can Get a Refund
You are entitled to a full refund of a purchase if both of the following are true:
- you ask within 14 days of the Credits being added to your account; and
- you have completed no more than 5 processing jobs since that purchase.
You do not need to give a reason. If either condition is not met, the purchase is no longer refundable as a matter of course, though we will still consider a request where the Service failed to work as described — see If Something Went Wrong below.
We do not offer partial or pro-rata refunds of Credits that have been used. A refund is all of one purchase, or none of it.
If Something Went Wrong
The 5-job limit exists to stop the refund route being used as free processing, not to deny genuine faults. If a separation failed, produced a broken file, or charged you for work that never completed, contact us regardless of how many jobs you have run — those Credits will be returned to your balance, and that is not counted as a refund of your purchase.
How to Request a Refund
Email turbo@mvsep.com from the address on your account, and tell us which purchase you mean (the date and amount are enough).
We will reply with a decision. If it is approved:
- the money is returned using the original payment method, within 14 days of approval;
- the Credits from that purchase are removed from your balance, which may take it to zero;
- separations you already produced remain yours, subject to the Terms & Conditions.
How long the money takes to appear after we send it depends on your bank or card issuer, not on us.
Marketplace Purchases
-
Apple App Store – Refunds are governed exclusively by Apple’s policies. Refund requests must be submitted directly through Apple Support.
-
Google Play Store – Refunds are subject to Google Play’s policies. Refund requests may be processed through Google Play, and approval is subject to Google’s billing rules.
Where a marketplace's rules differ from this policy, the marketplace's rules apply to that purchase — we cannot refund a payment we did not receive directly.
When a Refund May Be Refused
We may decline a request where:
- the 14-day window has passed, or more than 5 processing jobs were completed since the purchase;
- the account shows signs of abuse or fraud, such as repeated buy-use-refund cycles or payment disputes raised without contacting us;
- the Terms & Conditions were breached.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you, where that law gives you more than this policy does.
